Early August we have a HUGE media surprise for everyone who is following the EQUAL Parenting Bike Trek and my Runner-Up win in Best Life Magazines Hero Dad Contest!!  This is yet another HUGE media break!  I wish I could tell everyone now but I can not until the particulars are determined.  Trust me when I say this will ROCK the state of Michigan with media coverage of this event.

Baseball season is right around the corner and this dad's favorite team is the Oakland A's

The beginning of April is an exciting time of the year!  Spring is starting to show its face and baseball season is starting once again.  There is nothing more fun that taking your kids to a baseball game.  It is something I remember doing with my father and those times I will never forget!  Yes!  It is odd that someone in Michigan is a die-hard Oakland A's fan.  I like the Tigers as well but the A's will always be number one.

The A's are always the underdog and play with a very small budget to offer to the players.  With one of the lowest payrolls in Major League Baseball they always surprise us with an exciting end to the season.  Last year they were the American League West Champions.  Can they repeat this yet again with Frank Thomas and J. Payton being history?  Who knows but I always love the underdog stories...Oakland A's, Seabiscuit, my own life, etc.  A quote used earlier on Daddy Blog:

I am counting the days for April to come!  My incredible wife shares this enthusiasm as well...how lucky I am to have such a friend, life partner, step-mother, and wife!   

If I could only get Darrick Scott-Farnsworth more into baseball!  Perhaps going to a Tigers game is called for?
