The United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate have introduced House Concurrent Resolution 241 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 59 respectively. This is further proof that our elected officials are finally starting to hear our concerns. House Concurrent Resolution 241 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 59 both express support for enacting joint custody laws for fit and willing parents. This is another trend of positive news for those who want to end the current state of child abuse that is occuring all across the United States.
It is a child's fundamental right to be loved, guided, nurtured and educated EQUALLY by both fit and willing parents. To deny this is wrong. To deny this is CHILD ABUSE! It is sad that some ex-spouses have learned to hate their ex more than they love their children.
Keep in mind that these are federal resolutions and will add further strength to state level bills such as Michigan House Bill 4564 and Michigan House Resolution NN (2008). Remember our cause is justified and the moral one.
Legislation is just one way to obtain our goal. Another is through litigation against every county and family court system in America. An excellent example of this is the well organized United Civil Rights Councils of America which is planning a well coordinated class action lawsuit against every county in America.
