Dave Gahan's Hourglass

Robert has been listening to Dave Gahan and Depeche Mode since he was a kid.  Robert has always been consistent with the type of music he enjoys and doesn't change with whatever the direction the wind is blowing.  One of our best memories is seeing Depeche Mode in concert two nights in a row and in both cases we had 1st row seats, it was unbelieveable and such a fun night!  Below is Dave Gahan's first single and video "Kingdom".  Make sure you buy the CD when it comes to the United States in October.  It is quite amazing that Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Depeche Mode keep getting better and better as time goes on!

Dave Gahan's life is an example of how you can overcome numerous challenges and at the end of them become a happier person with even more to offer to this world.  This reminds me of my husband's walk through life. I'm a huge DM fan, and the songs Dave wrote for "Playing the Angel" (especially "Nothings impossible") were some of the best on that record...I'm not too impressed by this latest single from Dave...Still...thx. for posting the vid...it's new to me.

I'm a huge fan and think the new song "Kingdom" is amazing. Too bad it is the worst video Dave has ever been in. It's pathetic actually. Very cheap.

Likewise though, "Saw Something" on Hourglass is just beautiful. The whole album is years ahead of Paper Monsters and I agree, "Nothing's Impossible" was the best song on DM's last album.
