Reforms for a Better State

My note to Michigan State Senator George:

During the search for cuts and reforms please seriously look at three things that will drive down costs and improve productivity.
1. School vouchers for K-16 will drive down costs of education and provide true parental choice for all income classes. Eliminate the ISDs because they don't actually educate children and require school boards to work together when they desire.
2. Look at real tax reform by giving the Michigan Fair Tax a serious look before any other tax increases.
3. Give parents the ability to be good parents by passing the Shared Parenting legislation which will also give both parents an incentive to be more productive and build a stronger future when our children are better adjusted for life.
Senator George I still want to have a direct meeting with you to discuss these issues. If you agree to this you will have an opportunity to have your questions directly addressed.
