Friday was an exciting day for A Child's Right! We officially filed to become a non-profit corporation which will allow us to compete for various grant money that is provided for 501c3s to compete for. Hard to believe in such a short time that we have created something that everyone can be so proud of.
A Child's Right was originally created by Robert Pedersen and myself for his two amazing children that we both love dearly. They have been robbed of time with their father who has done nothing but state over and over again that he wants more time with his children. Both his son and daughter, when they are older will be able to look back at this incredible accomplishment that was done out of Robert's love to both of them.
Thank you so much to all of you that have supported our efforts and also volunteered on our behalf. Special thanks is also due to Darrick Scott-Farnsworth who always provides his sound judgment in all matters! He is never afraid to disagree and is always a calm voice in our progress forward. Darrick has done so much to protect a child's right to EQUAL time with BOTH fit parents!
WOW!!! We finally made it! The "ex" told us one time that none of this was true...kind of nice to be on the side of reality. We hope in the future that things will improve with Robert and his ex for the sake of the children. They have so far been denied the love, nurturing and guidance of a loving, fit and successful father. As our radio ad states - this is wrong! Congrats again everyone we made it!!
